Hotstuff is on a distinguished road
RPM and gear changes

Hi I'm new to this so apologies if this topic has already been covered.

I am the proud owner of a 2004 XTX and have been riding it now for about 4 months. I bought the bike second hand and the previous owner has fitted a Stage 2 and a Fuel Mod, he also fitted a set of Staintune's. This is only my second bike.

The bike has been regularly serviced at the specified times.

A mate of mine, who has been riding for many years and lots on lots of different bikes took my XTX for a spin and expressed concern about it not revving freely at higher RPM's.

I had not thought this a problem. Being a relatively new rider I am not trying to rev out in every gear and if I do get to the point where it starts spluttering (the rev limiter I think) I just change gears.

So my question is, is this normal? Is the XTX a low revving bike, or should I get some one to have a look at it to see if its running to rich/lean/????

I appreciate your thoughts on this.
