Being winter is nearly with us,the bike now travels the 100 odd mile round trip to the Plain on the back of my trailer.And with the road miles dropping off,I can make some changes to suit the Plain in the winter-

1) Swedish Army Special (Mitas) tyre on the front...MT 21 on the rear.I'm not quite sure about the front yet and will give it one more go....if not then the MT21 will go back on the front.



Lifted the front mudguard up 20mm,removed the tow hook and fitted a fender extender.

I had and old set of WR250 hand guards that could be made to fit with a little modding-

I've also changed the gearing which is now 14/47 along with a TT gear lever ,frame and sprocket guard-

.
Other mods include a 660R rear caliper guard-

A TT large rack and soft bag to suit, and with the rear foot pegs and mirrors removed to save crash damage/weight......which I tested on Saturday!!


Only my pride was damaged.
