Hello - can somebody tell me after having filled the radiator to the top and bled by running it for a few minutes also filling the expansion tank to the full mark ,will any trapped air if any left work itself out into the expansion tank and when cold be replaced by liquid in the expansion tank thus topping up the radiator?

I think you've sorted it that way...... I'd probably run it until the fan kicks in, but that's just me. Keep an eye on the res tank level and if yours is the Z,like mine, I xan just about get the rad cap off without removing the tank and do a kitchen paper towel dip or use a small mirror to check the rad level.
