Xtz ohlins fork spacer or not.
Hey guys, i have searched this forum and found some info on it but posts i read were not exactly clear.
So ive just received my new ohlins fork springs today (from otr) Part no 08716-60 . Upon inspection there are no spacers included. Ive read other posts saying there are supposed to be 40mm spacers included? My bike is a 2011 xtz. I plan on fitting the springs over the weekend do i use the factory spacers or install without them? Cheers , -Simon |

My Ohlins springs (for 2014 Ten) came without spacers , this meant doing a bit of maths and cutting down the factory spacers. The Ohlins springs and oil have transformed the front end of the bike by the way! , I was a bit sceptical about how much I would feel the difference but you absolutely can. I also have the Teknik valves to add as soon as work allows. Steve

Well I installed the new ohlins springs today and used the original spacer. everything went back together fine.
Also I noticed in another thread ( not sure which one) but someone asked if the ohlins were marked or stamped... answer is yes at only at one end see pic: [/url] |

Are they 6 Nm/mm ? " last 2 didgets in the number... 60 "6.0"
If so they are quite heavy so you may not need spacers.. ..
