Gearbox selector arm change?

Hello

Has a 2010 X I use for offroad and supermoto. Last year I notice between 1th and 2th and sometimes 2th and 3th gear it jumps out when shifting. Don.t know if my alpinestars Vector are to big that a touch the lever a little before shifting gear.

Are going to check the gear selector arm. Have anyone checked that on and the spring. It this a common problem and what do I have to change/replace?

A common source of jumping out of gear on the XT, besides the usual worn or bent selector forks, is wear in the stopper lever arm's bearing (11 on the diagram below). Any slop in this lever will result in gears not quite engaging will eventually cause accelerated wear of the shift forks, making the problem worse. If it fails completely it can effectively cause two gears to engage at once with catastrophic results! This part seems to be a more common weakness on engines assembled in 2009.

Many thanks for that help, yes it seems that parts I have read somewhere. Only that parts or should also the spring be changed?
