Lifting the bike

Hi everyone! First of all i am new to this forum. My name i Dan, from Norway and just got a 2008 Xt660X with only 10.000km on it.

That was a quick introduction, so to my question. Unfotunately my left fork is leaking oil, and quite a bit too actually. So i need to sort this out and then the issue of lifting my bike from the floor comes. I have a motorcycle jack thet lifts the entire bike on the frame, but as you all know the exhaust pipes runs under the engine on the 660. Can i lift the bike on the exhaust pipes under the engine? I see that it is a mounting under the bike where the pipes are connected to the bike, but i am not sure if the exhaust is strong enough to support the entire bike?

It is.

If Kev can do it, then you can do it!
