Over fueling issue..

Over the last few months every now and again my bike will randomly not start or cut out.
She stinks of fuel.
Fuel coming back through the joins in the exhaust and sounds hellish rough.

1st time was after stalling in a puddle.
2ND was just riding down the road and she cut out and over fueled and wouldn't start.
Took the injector out and pumped fuel though it. No obvious muck and she started immediately after this.
A few rides out and she did it again. This time miles off road in string winds and heavy rain. Turned off the efi and turned her over. Put efi back in. She started but only ran for a hundred yards or so.
Took the injector out and pumped fuel through. She fired and ran fine..

It's 3/4 times now.
Is it the injector or fuel regulator ? Or something else.
I have kev mod ( this wasn't installed 1st time it happened.
2 in 1 exhaust.
K and N air filter.
If any of that could make a difference.

Have u guys any ideas ?

I don't want it to go bang .

9/10 times in my experience this sort of random massive over-fuelling is due to a sticky injector (getting stuck in the open position). I think by the fact that you have found that when you remove it and pump petrol through it things work for a short while is a big clue.

You could try running some injector cleaner through and it's probably worth running the injector test in diagnostic mode. Realistically though, the only way you can identify/cure the problem is by substituting your injector for a known good one.
