I'm having real trouble removing the bar end inserts that secure the Yamaha hand guards. I've tried turning on the flats and heating them as much as possible having slid the heated grips away from the end of the bar. tThis restricts the amount of heat I can use.
I'm having trouble loading a picture, but they are a one piece steel insert with two flats where they come out of the bars and a threaded hole inside the bar to secure the hand guard. they must come out as there have been heated grips fitted.
Anyone had this problem?

I've had 4 Tenere's now all have had Genuine Yamaha handguards and never had a problem removing them.
I can tell you that they are both right hand thread.

I'm only in Runcorn so if you are over this way we could have alook.
