I think guards usually refer to the long plastic covers usually found on mx bikes and alike. I would love a pair! They would transform the look of the bike. I m not sure but hoping a pair from another bike may be manipulated to fit. Let me know if you have any luck

Just take the fork gaiters off their crap just hold water.Use a neoprene sock,
