Longer clutch cable

A few have asked about longer clutch cables when
useing bar risers... the Yamaha cable only just makes it
& can be a bit tight on full lock..
With the new USD conversion I needed a longer cable..
So I went looking.... Found this
Cable CBL9 is 75mm longer..

Excellent find!! Cheaper than getting a custom made cable from Venhill. At that price I will get myself a spare for my trips

How did you guys get on with the cable? Is the quality OK?

Anyone else bought one more recently able to confirm that CBL9 fits straight on?

Doesn't fit

Arse. Bought one in the UK and it's no good. It is indeed longer, but the threaded section is too short and it's not possible to fit it without the clutch being permanently engaged. Lubed it up too so there's no sending it back. I'll just use it to whip the neighbourhood kids.

sorry I should have replyed back to this thread earlyer... sorry
You are right... I had to move the lower mount
10mm closer to the clutch oparating arm... the fee cable is about 10mm shorter.. the cable has stretched now.. could prob go back to the standard
postion now..
Other than that mod ...they work a treat...

they work ok... but yer need to move the lower cable mount 10mm
closer to the arm...
I now have the standard cable on with ROX anti vib riser which are
100mm higher... just don't put the cable though the forks..bring it up on the
tank side of the handle bars... it works without a prob..

Any issues with the length of any other cables when you went up that 100mm
