Just a quick question, what speed, say on dual carriage ways -motor ways is comftable for the xtx engine to be run at without risk of damaging the engine?

My X (now traded for a KTM Duke 690), was not happy cruising at much more than 75, although I ran her flat out for a while at indicated 97 - I thought something would explode, so backed off!!
Bike was all standard except for MTC end cans, & they had pretty much no effect on power or top speed..... |

For me it's how long you can put up with the buffering, I've had a indicated 103, but about 75 is comfortable, which is probably more like 68 as Speedo is well out, as long as I'm keeping up with traffic, I try to stay off dual carriage ways they are hard work and boring
