Enduro..Chalkpit Hill,Salisbury Plain.

SETRA are running a three hour enduro (10am start) on the tank training area
near Tidworth this Sunday the 20th of Feb.

As a mate of mine is riding,I'm planning to go over to watch him, taking in all of the easy gravel byways on the way over and on the return trip.

If anybody wants to join me for the ride over/meet on the way,I will be leaving Weston-s-Mare at about 7.30am,getting to the Northern Imber Range road about an hour later, and then 99% off road to Tidworth.

If you coming from the east,we could meet at the enduro and have a ride-out in the afternoon.

If anybody is up for it,let me know and we can sort out a meeting point.

The Imber Range road starts here-

And the enduro is in this area-

All the lanes will be hard packed and easy going, novice friendly and ridden at a nice gentle pace.

Cheers,
Andy.

I had a good day out,not to cold and no rain was a bonus.
The start of the Northern Imber Range Road, turn left at the gate, not through it!!

the byway goes up the hill in the back ground

then on to Larkhill...the Army,to the point or what

nice hard packed lanes but with a few deep puddles, off camber sections to keep you on your toes

after this nice grass byway,I had a couple of road miles to Tidworth and the enduro-

I did a few lanes up to Burbage for fuel-

and back across Larkhill and the jetwash at Tilshead-

Left home at 7.30am,just under 200 miles (60/40 road/off road) and home by 5.00pm.

Cheers,
Andy.
