Any way to get the header clamps (by footpeg) off ?
Got some new second hand cans today, but they're not with the clamps for the headers to the midsection.
People just using jubilee clips as a compromise ? Looking at my clamps on std cans, i can't see them coming off as welded on the underside ?

hiya....do you mean that your existing ones are welded to the pipes??
anyways..a jubilee is not a strong enough clamp as they are only soft alloy...you need a stainless clamp.....why not give the ex-CCC guy a pm...Simon Cope..to buy a couple, they should not cost too much. his new company is called POWERTECH 01253 891087 OK??/ Happy modding!!!! ![]()

Yup, existing ones do not seem to want to move... looking on the underside they seem to be 'stuck' there (opposite side to bolt/clamp) so i'm assuming some sort of little weld etc.
Will do mate... thanks ![]()
