New Seat Cover Required

Hi all

As you can see from my first post in the Newbie area my XT660R is in need of a new seat cover. Now I've seen on another post that the original seat cover is around the 15 mark but it hasn't got a none slip centre section.

The following link shows a nice cover but a bit pricey (same price as a new seat). Any other suggestions?

Cheers

I just replace my faded blue seat cover with a black one. It doesn't have a none slip center but the side panels seem to be none slip!

Black is the most expensive option in seat covers as well, another blue would have been 30, the black was 40.

For what it's worth.

Cheers for the replies guys.

So just to clarify before I order, the all black seat covers from the newer XT660R will fit all models (mines an 05/06) and none of them have a non-slip centre section.

Cheers

I ordered a seat cover for an 06 Black XTX. After checking here I knew that it was an all black seat. The anti slip is the side panels so grip with your thighs.

Based on some Yamaha peculiarity my dealer told me you can't order by the colour of the seat, you order based on the colour and model of the bike that seat comes from.

One of the black bikes had gray side panels to the seat and I wanted to avoid that.
