Better brakes on my R.

Hi All,
I would like to upgrade the brakes on my '07r. I bought it purely as a road bike so going off road isn't a concern. I'll have the brake lines braided but I'd like to fit a bigger or better front disc can anyone help.

Not too sure about this, ive heard of people changing the wheels of the R to the X but changing the disc over to the X was never in there as they just changed the disc over to keep things simple/cheaper.

Im sure someone somewhere will have done it but it mind be expensive
