And big thanx to Kev for the ride on his XT700 eye opener.. what a machine, pulls like a schoolboy, handles superb, LOOKS TRICK AS.. Awesome job mate!!! :smilies0942::icon_burnout[1]:

Cheers mate, my seat faded badly on one side (due to parkng in sun all day at work).. so i used a spare van seat cover and heavy duty staple gun to fix problem fast and cheap!! Has thin foam padding too.. more comfy on the long rides.:icon_biggrin:

So can you do it with a small drill bit on the air box (if so looks good):drool[1]: I still cant get the DNA stage 2 yet :icon_frown:

Yes i too like the look ( not that you see it with side panels on) Very 'Phillip Island drilled fairing' look about it, not sure of the effect on air in-flow... (ask Kev).. but seems to do the job well.. sorry to hear bout the lack of DNA 2 at your end.. :009:

Fitted metal footpegs and acerbis handguard.

note: to fit the handguards you need to remove the grip ends and the part that's stuck inside the handlebar (don't know the exact word for this part). If you want to know how this is done or having other questions, pls let me know.

Greetings from Holland,

Marcel

I did the best thing of them all....recieved my XT supporter stickers in post, stuck them on the swingarm...
2 silver stickers would have looked cool, recieved one blue one and one silver one....

The Stranger 30-09-08 07:11

Fitted a set of Race Tech emulators and .47kg front springs.
Wicked - Now the front is cool the back needs work.
Does it ever end?

Forgive me father for I have sinned. I bolted on this monstrosity to my rear fender for I could no longer take the stream of muddy water that my rear wheel generates.

Actually, I look at it as reducing my bling-footprint....
