I am looking for a rear Hugger that goes all the way over the tyre like a mudguard, and put a wee mud flap on the back of that but not seen one yet....:happy7::045: |
I fitted an autocom to the tenere.... Had it wired to the zumo and bluetoothed it to the phone.
I've also ordered a taller screen fom metal mule and can't wait to see if it makes any difference. I'm currently exploring handguards but have become a bit bogged down as what to fit due to the mods I might have to make to get a set to fit. I want a pair to give tons of wind and rain protection. Removed the oxford muffs as i found that I COULD ONLY GET TO THE CONTROLS WITHOUT GLOVES ON. |
Whipped the K&N and the Stage II off and gave them a clean, currently drying them out before I apply the red thunder juice :D
Gave the chain a decent scrub, probably take the rear wheel off tmrw to get the sproket/nooks & kranies clean, the mrs is gonna love me doing that in the shower unit :D :D Sanded Worry Brothers Stage II bling piece down, gonna give it a couple of matt black coats tmrw...gotta keep the stealth image alive! Pics to be posted tmrw ;) Oh, by the way Fran, I tried your Mr Sheen tip on getting the bike shiny...fook me it works a treat....top dollar mate  |

Replaced original footpegs with some metal offroad type ones...hopefully my feet will stay in place now when they get wet and muddy...
Gave my bike a good clean and polish after the trip we had, cleaned the chain and sprockets with degreaser, removed my rear carrier rack and pannier rack. Next step is to fit socket adaptor for GPS...:o |
Nice pegs Gerhard, where did you get them from? I have some from Ebay that are very good, but I think the angle on yours gives a slightly better position for the boot.
Here's what my bike looked like today. Going to re-fit the K&N & Stage II later this week... http://img207.imageshack.us/img207/788/pict5806xl5.jpg |

Hi Denny. There is guy here in SA who makes them. Much wider that general ones from Yamaha. Your right, they are slightly angled to front, boot fit is just perfect and very comfy...must say, i thought there is going to be much more vibration coming off from the pegs, and transfer it up my foot, through my leg....into spine, into brain......what brain some of my friends will aks..?
