Laser cut stainless steel

Hi Kev, I have just finished reading a couple of your threads and I am very impressed.

I don't know if you have thought about having the suspension links laser cut out of stainless steel, it saves a whole heap of machining as you can leave 0.2 - 0,3 mm of material in the holes and just take out the last little bit with a drill of the correct size.

I have made links like this for my race bikes and also for a DT230 trail bike to lower it so my daughter can ride it.

Being stainless it doesn't need to be plated either so they are very quick and easy to make, it may save you few dollars on the manufacturing cost.

I have just recieved quotes from South Africa on laser cut links. I am waiting on postage costs before we go ahead.

I can get them laser cut in Australia but they want to many for a min order, which would take me 10 years to sell them. :laughing7:
