Hi Richard,

Did you sort this out? What was the final problem?

Just had the same wobbly rear sprocket problem richard had in the start of this thread and was wondering has any one else had this problem yet??

looking at ordering the parts myself and fixing it but because its the hoildays i cant get in contact with my yammy dealer so were did everyone else get theres?

Mines happened at 22k miles, and i already had to replace the right hand side rear wheel bearing at about 14k miles as it had become dried out (i was told its cause i must have blown out the grease but never went too close so must have been the previous owner).

I was wondering if anyone has the bearings dimensions(for all the three of them)
Thank's!

Kev 28-12-08 22:49

Sorry mate I do not have the sizes, remove your back wheel & knock out the bearings to get the numbers & sizes.

Please let us once you get them.

Sure thing Kev.I am trying to find some free time(and the temperature to rise a bit...)to change chain/spockets,inner tube the dampers, replace the oil filter, check the oil level and fit a main stand!!!(I like it a lot!!!)

maxwell123455 29-12-08 17:08

Just ordered the sprocket bearing and oil seal but its the same old story

"oh we dont have that in stock at the moment, would you like me to order it in"

"yes"

"its gonna be at least until after new years + standard 3-4 days waiting time"

great, so the bikes up on the bike stand and having to have some time off untill i can get the parts.

Why is it that Yamaha over here in Belfast Northern Ireland never stock any parts? Is it the same any where else in the UK?

It would be nice to have the bearing sizes...
I'd like to replace them, and I think that it'll come cheaper if they're not boutgh from Yamaha. Just a guess...

Let us know...
