my xtr oem back 18,000,oem front 20,000 when i changed it stil had alot off tread but had started cracking :wave:

What were your oems? - mine are Siracs and the rear is near shot at 3000 km.

i have seen this term being used in this forum and ithought it ment original tyre chain when the bike waz new.......:icon_scratch: if i have it wrong please explain..

oem means original equipment manufacturer - that is the third party manufacturer who supplied Yamaha with the original equipment - in this case the tyres - they could be one of several different tyres fitted as 'standard' in different places.

ithought everybody got the same mine were sirac and ifitted them again ...very happy with them:HappyRoll_ANPIUI:

I have Pirelli mtr-01 + 02 on my new bike has anyone else got or used these and what sort of milage did you get off them please.
