My apologies, that's my fault for not reading properly. Your tank may be a different shape because you have the battery underneath it, unlike the earlier model Ten. The fuel capacity is still 23 litres AFAIK. Run your fuel down to instigate the F trip.

Then fill up and note how many litres it takes. This will then tell you how long you have on F trip in terms of litres, (23 litres full minus your fill up quantity equals what's left in reserve in litres).

The next thing to do is to work out your fuel consumption so you then know what range in Km/miles your particular F trip / reserve will give you.....as a rough average.

Hope this helps.

Thanks. I will update this post according to results.

Yes, I've tried it but the noise is still there. When I hold the windscreen while riding it stops.

check the headlight lens, it might have come loose out of the socket of the adjustment screw.
i've had it and managed to pop it back in.
pull the rubber cover and see if you can move the lightbulb back and forth to see if sits tight,in my case i could move the lightbulb along with the lens, so i found the problem there.

have you ever open the headlight casing or cowling?
if yes, then maybe the rubber spacers are not in the right position.

as for the fuel level indicator..
in my ten only the first and the last "line" are reliable and I can trust them.the 2-3-4-5 "lines" between them, are most of the times false and not representing the real fuel level inside the tank.
maybe it's the tank's strange shape that is responsible for that..
keep in mind that you have 6-7L left in your tank when the indicator starts flashing..
With the last line flashing I have drive for 120km.
max range with full tank is about 420 km riding alone with no luggage.

Probably my problem is the same as in the above link but I couldn't check it yet.

I rode until the last fuel drop is burned in the tank and I rode 396 km. I rode just in city traffic mostly unaggressive. Is this fuel consumption normal ? What's the max range on highways ?

Chalk Two 26-05-18 09:33

I'd be pleased to see 396. I think there was a thread here with a 'poll' showing people's results. From memory yours would be in the better group.

hannesd 26-05-18 13:26

my last bar in the fuel indicator shows up at about 310km.
i went once up to 450km on 1 tank of fuel, don't know exactly how much i added to top up. i think about 20-21 liters.
i read some guys get upto 600km, but that's gotta be grandpa-style riding :-D

Now my horn doesn't work. What can cause this ? My battery is low by the way. And last week gas ran out and motor stopped. Just 5-10 minutes before this stop I was waiting a traffic light and motor stopped there too. Especially after rain exposure there's a burning smell around head but don't know where exactly.
