Hello

I had been very dizzy this couple of days perhaps finding CDI and immobiliser and keys if nothing work. Found a guy who had a harness for the newer XT with the CDI with the orange sticker. I mounted the harness on my bike and didn,t make any fancy wiring because wanted to test first.

Also check with the guy what will happen if the CDI and immobiliser don,t work between them. I have no O2 sensor but that should not be a problem just to test the bike. First test the fuel pump and display didn,t started. Foundthe ignition fuse and also the backup fuse was blown. After that the fuelpump and display worked but didn,t start. Took out the spark plug and it had spark. Ok what to do next, did,t know how the security lamp should blink when it is ok. Well I smell gas on the spark plug and wondering if the injection does not work. I tested to spray some startgas and:
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES
it started.

Some updates.

Btw how is it. My harness is for a O2 sensor XT660 but got no O2 sensor. Got a PC5 and should I go for the O2 eliminator or O2 optimizer?

You definitely need O2 sensor installed and then use Kev's O2 mod. Without O2 sensor, if you just plug in O2 resistor type eliminator your ECU will keep "looking" for O2 sensor signal (although the light will not be on) and when does not find it it will go into emergency mode. In this case the PCV cannot work also.

Looks like things are coming along nicely. It will almost be a shame to get it dirty once it's finished.
