Building my second XT660R Dirt Offroad

Hello Everyone

Been some time after I sold my XT660R with WP front end and finally have manage to have a chance to have two XT. Both X but it ends up doing one of them a supermoto and the other a Offroad. My Supermoto is almost finished so the main object is the Offroad one.

Here is a picture of my last XT660R I sold and after that a picture of the oen Supermoto I got now and the main object Offroad one. Will Updated under the building of the Offroad.

Hi mate,
Are you using 17" or 18" rear rim for your off road project? If 18" is your choice, what speedo healer/adjuster you use?

Thanks

Hello

No this time I will us stock 17" because I found MITAS C-02 in 17" size. Have black 21/18 rims but that have to wait. Did not used healer to my last XT building.

Thanks.
May I ask you one more question, the front wheel looks like WR/YZ sourced, if so what disk you are using?

Have some problem, the first owner decided to build his own version of XT and cut the subframe and sold many things. Also change the 2010 harness to a 2006 harness but he must been thinking of something else because I got a 2006 harness BUT a newer CDI who can,t be mounted my older harness FUC*!!!!!!!!!!!

So don,t know if the ignition works with that CDI. I finally got a newer harness so I can test. Not easy to find a package with keys/CDI/ignition ;(

The previous owner most likely wanted to get rid of the lambda (O2) sensor moving back to the old version (I.e. Pre-2007 model). If it works I would suggest you leave it like that. You can better manage the fueling and eventually avoid the famous surging. By the way what is the last digit of the ECU number?
