I'll keep watching! I just had to cut the plastic top brackets off the radiator (both cracked and iv'e seen others mention the same). Be much sturdier now with metal brackets and better protected with a new guard!

XTR prototype guard fitted today and fits spot on.

Ok, I was meaning the front 'grill' bit on the plastic tank/ side covers though..

Update on my Radiator Guard spoke to 5 local powder coaters and none could get powder im after so ordered some in myself and gonna get them to coat with powder i supply . I rode about 650 miles last saturday / sunday including a midnight run to wales for a Fry Up guard is perfect its now as dirty as rest of the bike but looks like it belongs and has always been there lol |
