Looks funny...but if it works might be worth to give it a go?!

Where did you get this idea from?

What's all that gunk on your engine case by the clutch cable?

Also, if you want to mount your sat-nav case above your speedo, I got a small RAM mount from http://www.buybits.com/

That's mud, took her home the dirty way, was a lot dirtier than that but I hit some huge puddles on the way back and it cleaned most of it off..

Taking her out again tomorrow and it is really muddy now, been raining...

Thanks for the Nav tip, I have a GPSMAP60 that I want a RAM mount for....

I put the SatNav on and it halved the turbulence so I went hunting around the garage for something to bolt onto the cross brace, the speaker grill came to hand after about 20 minutes searching for anything that would work...

It's black

It's light.

You can still see through it and it works.....

TBH, yesterday I picked up my Tenere from dealer after few warranty issues, didn ride it for last 8weeks...and on the way home - approx 130miles on motorway - my neck was hurting cos of the turbulence - I forgot how bad it is on this bike and the seat as well..jeeez.

I have the wind deflector already but yes, more wind is coming from the 'bottom' between tank and forks.

I think I will give your idea a go...

How about the access to ignition?

You are aware of the amazing WindCOMB solution?

http://www.xt660.com/showpost.php?p=97210&postcount=65

...which is less a get-in-the-way then a BBQ on your bar. ;)

Hey I didn't think of that, I could put a gas lamp under it and flip burgers on the move......:041:

There's a place on Fleabay selling windcomb in metre lengths....

Good place to rest your coffee and muffin on when you're taking a breather at the Newbury services.

The only thing I've found which kills the buffeting is a 50 mph Patagonian tail wind. Seriously, try it - it's like riding a GSA 1200 with a 700 after-market touring screen (I assume - I've never ridden one!!!)
