The only draw back with the 47 sprocket is high speed freeway cruising. There again in Oz the highest speed we can sit at is 70MPH, HA HA.

I tried the 14 tooth & found it made the bike rev to high for my liking & settled on the 47 rear sprocket. 1 tooth on the front is equal to 3 on the rear.

By going bigger on the rear sprocket there is more leverage to turn the wheel & there is less strain on the chain & the chain should last longer. That's my theory anyway.

You must also remember my bike produces just over 53HP on the Dyno & would contribute to the wheel lifting in 2nd
