Fitted Avons to mine last weekend, done around 300 miles commuting, M25, M4 and London, Excellent, feels solid on the road. I do about 1000 miles a month so will be good to see how they wear.

in that case please be so kind to fill in this database so that we can compare in the long term who had what out of them.

After reading through the tyre section, i decided to take the plunge and got Avon Distanzia's fitted last wednesday.Got them srucbed in on the same day and have been out in the rain on them on thursday and friday.
First impressions are excellent, quality wet weather performance and with what dry weather conditions i have encountered recently they seem equally at home. Just a quick question to you Dis owners have you kept the pressure's the same as the OE tyres or are you trying anything different?? :wav: |
28-30psi front & back seems to work for me

I am quite heavy so to lose the squirmy feeling I need mine set at 31 front and 33 rear.
|
I've got an Avon Distanzia rear tyre ready to go on the back in a 1000 miles or so. Do they work ok with a Pirelli Dragon on the front?
|
Well Ive just bought a rear avon distanzia since you lot seem to rate them very high. Bought them off here 91.60 plus P+P http://www.moto-tyres.co.uk/start.html.
