does it clear OE panniers? flat, side on view picture? connection type/size? cost?

It's been off the bike for a while now, but I could fit my pannier frames over it ok. Couldn't tell you about Yam panniers as I don't have them.
It clamps straight onto the OE collector, and then I bolt the hanger through the 10mm hole in the subframe that my panniers mount to.

... it's EU approved... and.... MADE IN GERMANY!!

... so hard to beat ;)

The only reason I didn't buy the Aussie's TK-Pipes solution is that it hasn't got an EU approval (and produces more dB then allowed) and that could get me into trouble (especially in some parts of Germany were they specifically target motorists on EU approved exhausts).

So ... if you could deliver a single can + storage + EU approval, you would have an unique product that would make sense to replace the standard and aligneexhaust. Better sound, better performance, more storage ... sounds good to me.

If you would succeed I would be really pissed having my LeoVince's (had to replace the original: it fell apart).

The OTR design does not follow the line of the bike either. Why not simply get the inlet pipe to follow the same line as OE? Then the silencer has to do the same? Tool box great, some sort of shield to fill the gap left under the seat might also be needed as part of the system.
