Otr

Hi guys,I was just wondering if anyone else has had trouble getting goods delivered from the OTR website.Placed my order on the 9th June and payed through Paypal (1200 euros) and still not received my stuff.I e mailed them and they said they are waiting for stuff to arrive from the manufacturers. Why advertise parts if you don't have them in stock, was supposed to be 48hr delivery time, that was 16 days ago and still waiting. Not happy.:violence:

What you say isn't good and I agree that vendors shouldn't take payment for items not in stock and it helps if they state what's in and what's not on the website. However, to be fair to OTR I've had no trouble with them? (4 purchases over last 18 months)

What did you order? (Purely out of interest)

OTR is a lottery. Good products but with very unpredictable customer service.

Some people have been having a rough ride and some a breeze.

He has been known to send not what you buy but a similar brand to what you click buy on, which in this country its illegal and he gets away with it.

I got a PC-V from them... the box was tampered, O2 optimiser was missing, fitting instructions were altered (against dynojet polict - checked it with them) ... big story...

Dynojet knows about it. German distributor also knows about it (but it seems they don't give a f%@* also)

They scam their customers and something must be done.

Oh god,it gets worse,I'm not liking the sound of this at all,I've bought oversize headers, mivv carbon cans, stage 1+2 DNA filters, tail tidy with led rear light and some other stuff, spent over 1000,now after the above comments I'm really worried about what I'm gonna get.

.

I had no problems at all with the purchase I made from them, well other than the mount was faulty but they repalced that within 2 days (not too bad for international delivery).

Everyone who seams to have issues, from what I can see, deals through the website only. I didn't, I emailed them and they got back very quickly.

There are some very good technical reasons why things might be on a website, but not in stock (not least it's a huge <network> security risk joining stock controll with the web, and cost to safeguard against), so it's always good advice, when dealing with small companies, to check they have the stuff. Email or a phone call will often save you problems in the future.

I had exactly that problem! I ordered (and paid for) Wilbers fork oil and he send Castrol fork oil. When I emailed him and asked why he did that he said it's of equal quality and sometimes he sells Wilbers, Castrol etc...I don't care if it is of the same quality, I wanted what I bought!!!

Gess your not going for the modding in a slow way!!!

Havent ordered from OTR myself but read alot about others dealings and as GULG says, try any means to contact them, phone, email, pigeon etc, sometimes compaies have so many different ways of contacting, one system takes ages, where as others take secs.
