Hi guys! This is probably the first time I'm writing on this forum, though I've been following it for some time now.

I'm a big fan of XT660X and want to buy it used. There's a 2005 model I'm looking to get. My question for Kev is, which one of your mods, if any, can help fix surging on a 2005 model? Thx for your help.

Hello Kev,

I've bought an a 2nd hand O2 eliminator from someone and tried to fit it this morning only thing is, I've no idea which wires go where and also can I remove the old o2 sensor completely afterwards.

Thanks Kev! Thanks for the welcome and for the help. I'll hope that it's the 01 ECU and that it doesn't surge too much. But if it becomes too frustrating I know who to talk to. ;)

To be sure is it a O2 eliminator or O2 controller?

The eliminator connects to the cooling system & has two wires on it & the O2 controller has 8 wires with 2 connector that connects to the O2 sensor.

Hi Kev, I tried to block the hole in the airbox as per your suggestion, but it did not work: surging is still the same, and "pops" are still there as they used to be too.

Just a quick one to sing the praises of kevs o2 controller. What a difference. Should have bought one ages ago. Bike transformed. Thanks Kev.

What year & model 660 are we talking about as the popping results are different for different year ECU's.

Hi again Kev!
After a lot of searching I finally got me a 2007 XT660X. Woohoo! :D
I don't want to bore anyone with details here, but as expected, it's surging. It's not too bad and I'm getting used to it, but it would be nice to get rid of it. Can you tell me what is the latest price for the O2 Controller and for your Fuel Mod? Can those be bought as a set and what would be the price in that case? Thanx in advance! ;)
