We nearly had another pile-up on the way home, not a near miss, but close enough....a Mondeo overtaking on a BLIND left hand bend (doing 70-80mph ish, really sensible).....two cars in front of us braked to avoid hitting him,.....I braked to miss the car in front, and Matt braked to miss me...but home safely. Luckily, we had plenty of space/braking distance...
We swapped over bikes as well further on.....nice to have a go on a Ten... Waiting for the vid and pics............and the full report. A great day out, thank you Tomsdad, Uncle Ricky for looking after us......... See you again if you'll let me!! With some TKC's on......and ABS brakes!!!! lol:rotf[1]: |

Off to the Plain in two weeks so these pictures are excellent at showing (current) conditions. I will one day make a forum trip. Cheers |
Sign by the roadside. There's loads of them saying helpful stuff like "Do not leave the carriageway. Do not pick stuff up - it may explode and kill you" :D

Decide to pass RRMad after following him down a stoney hill on the left hand side at the precise time that he decides to change sides and go down the left hand side, that was very close

Really disappointed that I couldn't make this one. Andy told me about it early on, but the better half had already made plans for the whole weekend :-(
Top clips Rick. Makes it clear that the trails Andy said you'd be on would have been quite suitable for my experience. Watching all those has convinced me I'll have to find my way down to Salisbury Plain soon. Thanks for posting them. |
