I noticed that too. There appears to also be a matching matt black front mudguard.

I did notice though that on the Yamaha website they appear not to have actually taken pictures of the new colour schemes, just "photoshopped" the old ones!

Not done em all yet and haven't offered them up to the thumping hearing aid but I think it will look really neat when it's all done :)

Greetz, Hans.

So the 2013 model, I'm guessing/hoping they haven't done some irritating minor change to them so they won't fit the older ones? If so I think I'll be getting new plastics in black. Anyone have any idea what they cost roughly ?

Edit: oh, and Chris, those look awesome!

I've been into my Yam dealer today to get quotes for these:

Prices are in GBP.
I've tried to decipher what part is where, also doesn't seem to be a black bash plate?

Cover 2 - 15.01 (High side fender?)
Cover 1 - 15.01 (High side fender?)
Scoop, Air 1 - 25.43 (Grab handles?)
Scoop, Air 2 - 25.43 (Grab handles?)
Cover, Tail 1 - 17.09 (Tail cover?)
Tuning Fork Mark - 11.87 (???)
Cover 2 - 23.74 (Low side fender?)
Cover 1 - 23.74 (Low side fender?)
Radiator Cover Ass. 1 - 24.16 (Indicator panel?)
Radiator Cover Ass. 2 - 23.64 (Indicator panel?)

Subtotal - 205.12
+ VAT 41.03

Total = 246.15

I would guess:
Cover 2 - 15.01 (Indicator panel?)
Cover 1 - 15.01 (Indicator panel?)
Scoop, Air 1 - 25.43 (Black air cover Right?)
Scoop, Air 2 - 25.43 (Black air cover Left?)
Cover, Tail 1 - 17.09 (Tail cover?)
Tuning Fork Mark - 11.87 (???)
Cover 2 - 23.74 (High side fender?)
Cover 1 - 23.74 (High side fender?)
Radiator Cover Ass. 1 - 24.16 (Low side fender?)
Radiator Cover Ass. 2 - 23.64 (Low side fender?)

But I would ask my Yamaha dealer where you got those quotes! :)

I think your ideas are better than mine.
I've scouted through the parts manual, the tuning fork is on the front of the headlight cowling.

There's no mention of grab handles or bash plate.

Still, that's a lot of money.

Might be better off getting them dipped?

I've used plastic wrapping, I have another thread where you can see my bike in all white.

If you try to dip them in rubber plastic please let us know the results! :) But I think its hard to get decals to stick to the rubber surface. If thats what you want!

I think the tuning fork is the Yamaha Logo :laughing6:
