I think we xt660.com were considering not recommending them as some people had some issues with claims, I'm not sure what those details were however.

I certainly like the convenience they offer with their online policy but I could consistently find cheaper insurance for myself (30's, totally new to biking, reassonably safe area and LOTS of miles) so I chose to go elsewhere (saving nearly 150 in the process).

Got my price by going to gocompare.com, getting the best price then ringing round a few phone only companies who beat the best listing on price and features.

ebike used to be on our sponsor program up to last May 08.

They promised us the moon, but while their brokers were efficient in offering low insurance rates and interesting package deals, i.e. ebike/ecar/ehome insurances they were miserably let down by the actual underwriters who were difficult in honouring claims, we had infact a couple of members here that had to struggle to get their claim payment.

I contacted them at several times to help resolving those issue explaining that we were actually sponsoring their products so that we at least expected a different level of after sale care from them, but their feedback was atrocious and I didn't need to waste more of my time chasing them so I dropped them off the sponsor program and told them where to get off.
