2008 Side Panels on a 2006?

After my recent incident, I am wondering if 2008 side panels for the XTX will fit on a 2006 XTX. Does anyone know?

Also, INDICATORS. I am looking at some LED tipped ones. Anyone have good or bad experiences of these? and do they fit directly onto the XTX without too much messing about?

If you are referring to tank panels the answer is no, because the 2007-08 models have a different anchorage point on the front whereas on the 2004-06 ones the panels are clipped to the radiator cowlings, 07-08 have a smaller rad with a different shape.

Indicators: you can fit whatever you can hook on them but if you go for LED ones you will need a relay box, to avoid them blinking illegally too fast. (Yep it is illegal for indicators to blink too fast)
