wow that is a lot of Tenere's

It goes to show how quickly this bike has become a highly popular choice over any other brand of bike (such as beemers, hondas, kwakers and even ktbooms) barely a few months since they have become available, and it's no surprise the fact that there is still a waiting list for them.

I think, luckily for you guys Yamaha really got it spot on with this bike in terms of design, functionality and engine running perfection.

in fact what the rest of us suffered with surging and stalling on our XTX/XTR is something that finally is no issue whatsoever with these new models.

+1 on that Capt.

Having had and 08 XTR and an XTZ I totally agree. My only critisism is the altitude but that is sorted as of today

I wish to comment on your quick closure of Threads. Please dont close them when we could have lots of fun with your comments.... Re the gaskets you sold to David. I am sure many of us could have had a lot of fun with that one.... :tenere:

Colin and what has that got to do with this thread?

We close for sale threads when the items are sold then 2 weeks later we move them to Area 51 for reference storage.

That way we don't clog up the For Sale section with old sold items.

p.s.: have you visited our complaint department which is the appropriate place for you to address all your comments?

You will find it at this link http://www.xt660.com/showthread.php?t=3727 (keep it in mind for future reference)
