Great news, let us see what it looks like once you receive it.

(this thread will be moved to a more appropriate location, i.e. Tenere mods or whatever is more suitable, cheers)

I have spoken to Paul at Metal Mule today and Hooray I get mine back tomorrow with Hugger, Lowering links, Bash plate, Radiator screen, Taller front screen, Headlight protector, Crash bars, Pannier frames / rear carrier and a pair of panniers (which I will pay for). He wants to take the crash bars back to make a production jig but I want pics first. I will get pics to the site as soon as I can but I am off camping this weekend to Wetton (nr Buxton) for the Friday night, up to Dent for the Saturday night. Then 5th / 6th Sept to Dartmoor to the GS club meet. Paul was going to take the Zed there but I wanted it back so I hope to meet him there and get some crash bars then. Ferry booked for Holland 12th / 13th Sept for the Monoconnection meet at Doornenburgh (Nr Arnham) so I'm going to be busy and all over the place, hope to see members on the road. Spot me if you can!
(Khaki model with lots of goodies!)

Just a quick update, MCN have let Paul from Metal Mule down and he could not bring back my bike today. I have spoken to him tonight and he is setting off early in the morning to bring my bike up. He is still leaving all of the kit on and as per my last post bringing me some panniers as well.
My plan for the weekend still stands and I will be at Dent for the Sunday morning and at Devils Bridge for lunchtime for those that know the area. Cheers SteveD
Will post pics as soon as I can.

I for one can't wait to see these pictures mate!!! Gonna be boss mate!!!

Are you going to the XRV meet in Dartmoor this year too (I remember talking to you about the Dent one last year)???

I've just had a pass so I thought I'd shock 'em all by crashing the party with my single again

Got the Tenere back this morning and went to work on it. Got all the bits as promised but he took the crash bars back as they were the only ones that he had and wants them for jigging / production, gots some pics though. Went riding after work and got back late so sorry no pics in daylight yet. Panniers are fantastic and you don't know that they are there. Tall screen takes a while to get used to but certainly keeps the wind off, must be 100mm taller!
Big bonus is the lowering link and I can get the balls of my feet on the ground now, will drop the forks through parhaps 20mm and check the difference. Bash plate is the donkeys, radiator grille looks the biz, hugger a bit flimsy but works OK. Pannier frames also include a rear rack and are superb quality as is the front light cover. Allin all I'm very pleased with the gear and will test it this weekend. Setting off tomorrow afternoon and will get some pics to post as soon as. Yes I hope to go to Dartoor as Paul from Metal Mule will be there and hopes to have a production crash bar set for me and I hope to meet up with some mates as well as XT owners!
