Hi, I hope this is the right place for my request.

I am in desperate need of a new helmet and have found the exact one for me - the AGV S4 in mat black. I have tried all of the local bike dealers and motorcycle stores and all are out of stock and can only get this helmet mid-September from the supplier.

I am thinking of an online purchase and was wondering if any of you fine folk have had any experience (positive, negative or otherwise) in buying helmets online. Also, any recommendations for an online store(s) would be appreciated.

I have had very conflicting advice from pals and I am in two minds whether to wait or buy online.

The only problem you may have with buying a helmet online is getting the right size as most helmet manufacturers use totally different sizings.
The ideal way is to actually try one in a shop and then buy the same helmet online cheaper but if no one has any stock near you thats going to be difficult.

I could not have said it better... Hi and welcome, If you have not tried the helmet style and manufacturer dont buy online it may not fit as you think, heed shape etc...
