I just used a car one. One of the Philips vision plus +50% H4 works well.

Dont think there are any Bike specific Bulbs I have used Car ones in the past with na problems.

At least you had the others working.

The last time it happend to me I started off with the Dip going in Edinburgh so upset the toonies by driving on main beam. But this only worked for 2/3rds 66% of the way home, then had to ride on Side light only

As long as its got H4 written on the package/box some where you can near use any bulb you want with in reason (no coloured ones). When my bulb went in my old bike i just went into Halfords and bought one for a fiver, as a mate got one for 15 once and there was no difference in the amount of light, spread, etc etc. Just a waste of money.
