The good news is that not one to be beaten by AVON and their production cockup i decided to search the WWW to see if i could locate the old faithful Avon Distanzia rear tyre, that being the 160/60/69H/17 that we all love.

And guess what, i have afound a company in Germany that, if their on-line stock is to be believed, they actually have them in stock. And the proof in the pudding, one has just been delivered a few minutes ago by the local courier company.

And, i hear you ask, what was the price?? Well, bear in mind the price is in Euros', and you pay for shipping the total price was 138Euros, which equates to approx �100 give or take a few quid. Slightly expensive, but given that they are like rocking horse muck and i needed one then this was the route for me.

Capt - perhaps CCC can have a chat with them and if they do have plenty in stock then perhaps we can ship a few over for the guys in desperate needs.
