Michelin Pilot Road 2
Just had a new Michelin Pilot Road 2 fitted to the back of my XT. Quite glad to see the back of the Pirelli. Hopefully this one should give me a bit more milage and a high level of grip. Here's some pics. I'll update this in a few weeks once I have worn all the top coat off (and I mean all of it!) to let you know what I think.
Some point too in the near future I plan to replace the front with a Michelin Pilot Power 2CT or maybe even something even stickier.... I know everyone loves pics so here are some! |

It will be interesting to see how it works with the Pirelli on the front. One thing I dont like about the pirellis is the grip, slip, grip again feel it has. So I am quite looking forward to putting something really sticky on the front - cos lets face it I only bought this thing to throw round corners.
But needs must, and the uglyness of the standard cans must go before new front tire. I need more sound (as well as more grip). Doesnt help when the person you ride with (richard) has some CCCs that make my bike sound like a wet fart. |
