Question Warranty transfer & Local Service Centre

Can anyone help?

1. I'm picking up my newly acquired XTX next weekend and wondered if anyone can tell me if the 13 months outstanding warranty is transferable to me or not? The seller assure me it is. It's had two previous owners. And has just over 2000 genuine miles.

2. The next thing I'd like help with is: can anyone tell me where the best place to have the bike serviced is near Weybridge in Surrey?

3. Oh! and is it best to always take it to Yamaha! Or are some people set up for these bikes and approved?

Many Thanks

A Yes, Buck did the same bought it 2nd hand and the warranty was extended to him no problem

A Don't know myself who is the best in Surrey but...... check here there is a lst of them http://www.yamaha-motor.co.uk/dealer...lts.jsp?page=1

Q 3. Oh! and is it best to always take it to Yamaha! Or are some people set up for these bikes and approved?

A Whilst the bike is under warranty, in order fro Yamaha to honour the warranty you must use an authorized dealer or, on your head be it in case of a terminal fault. After the warranty is over, the choice is yours.

Many Thanks
