I have been puting off cleaning my bike till the end of my week off so its gotten quite mucky! NOT XTR off road mucky but general road crap and my Scotte Oiler was turned up too high to start with so my back wheel was covered in crap,oil and every thing that could stick to it!
I went into the dealers to find some cleaning products because in 20 odd years of driving I have NEVER washed my car,
so they sold me a 1ltr spray bottle of detergent called MOTO XTREEM WASH by MOTRAX, what you do is give the worst bits a spray and leave for 10 mins then you can dilute it in a bucket 20:1 with water[I didnt] I used washing up liquid and hot water with a spunge and brush to wash the bike then rinsed it off with water.
The bugs mud crap and oil\grease just washed off with NO effort at all!
I was also sold a 1ltr bottle of Scottoiler FS365 again in a spray bottle to mist on the bike [ NOT ON BRAKE DISKS] to protect against rust and corrosion it also is suposed to make it easyer to clean the bike next time.
I dont know maybe you already know about this stuff but it did do a good job as far as im concerned and I DONT wash cars just my new toy!
