XTR Rear Tyre Size

Hi all,
Sincere apologies if this has already been answered (i'm sure it has somewhere) but i'm about to replace the tyres on my 2006 XTR with TCK80's. Will a 140 fit on the rear, and if so what is the advantage over the 130?
