Best handguards

I was looking at some handguards and havent decided on what are best. I am looking for a large set that will stop as much wind as possible but still have a good metal bar around the inside as i will be doing some off roading.

Any price really but nothing mega like 100 or so.

I put a search in this site for handguards and came up with this.

Take a look at the KTM handguards, the largest I could find. They haven't any reinforcement inside however.

Get the genuine Yamaha ones. They come complete with fittings, are metal reinforced and you can buy the wind deflector parts as well, approx 64 for guard and 10 for wind deflectors. Costly but fantastic.

I got some Acerbis ones from these guys, they have a few others that might suit though too

I too went for the Yamaha ones and fitted the extra spoilers (was I the only one confused by the instructions?!!).

I have to say that I'm a little disappointed with the amount of protection from the wind/elements provided by these but the build is pretty good.
8/10 for build
6/10 for protection

At this price (60 - 80) I'd shop around if weather protection is foremost in your mind.

You're right greencat I found my old plastic ufo's gave better protection against wind. But the metal yamy's seem indestructable(not that they've been tested...yet)which is what I need cos it's not cold over here
