crash protectors
thought i'd share the crash protectors i've fitted to my '07 XTX, some swingarm and fork protectors from R&G which are easy to fit, with a steel bar that goes through the hollow spindles. And a lot cheaper than the parts they protect.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() and some engine and waterpump guards from off the road, that were a doddle to fit and are made of high quality materials. The waterpump protector comes with a milled mounting plate that bolts on in place of the nuts holding the engine mount at the front of the engine, and the clutch cover protector replaces the inspection cover and utilises the original o-ring. Both unobtrusive and should do the job in the event of a spill. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() any questions feel free to ask, sorry for the state of the bike, but it has been raining, just in case you hadn't noticed.

the fork and swingarm protectors came from my yamaha dealer, but you can see the website in the picture. about 30 the pair i think.
the other two came from off the road, about 135 euros delivered from germany. the link to them is on the site as a picture of their logo, just click it, and then wave goodbye to your bank balance ![]()
