Engine sound

Hi. My xt660x has had an issue for a few days now. The engine starts ok and sounds normal. Once it heats up it produces a clicking noise (when idling or when I stop at the lights). The engine then cuts off. Took it to my mechanic and was told the issue might be the timing chain tensioner but before we can even try anything I thought I'd share here and see if anyone has had the same issue before. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fLcg3q9x4VE
