Heavy Steering
Hi guys, yesterday when I unlocked handlebar lock there was a heaviness while turning handlebar. I thought there was low air pressure in tires and checked the tires, tires were normal. I didn't care a lot, started the bike and went on. When I was on the way back home, I noticed steering was very hard especially on low speed. What's wrong with this bike ?

what is your bike / year / model and what were the tyre pressures that you measured with a gauge after you "checked" them? Plus, which tyres and sizes do you have fitted and how many KM's have they done?

+1 on the steering bearing too. Jack up the front end so it's off the ground and feel how the steering moves. Also keep an eye on any cables that are binding because they have been re routed oddly or because there has been a change in handlebar height, stretching cable limits.

I couldn't check the bike yet. But there is a burning plastic smell coming through cables. This burning smell sometimes occurs especially after riding in rainy weathers. I don't know if there's a connection with this problem.
