Instrument Cluster Access
Hi all
Is there any way to access the instrument cluster just with taking off the cowling but without dropping out the headlight? The rubber grommets are slightly loose(due to vibrations) and the three screws simply need tightened up, and seems a bit of a long process for three screws. Is there any way to access them quickly or do I have to resign myself to what the Haynes manual instructs and remove the lot? Andy |

I installed the speedo today.
You do have to remove the screen, headlight surround and side Indicator panels. I was able to Install the bottom screw first, then the right side and finally the top screw. The head light tilted forwards enough to access the bottom screw using a phillips screw bit and used a 1/4" ring spanner. It does have to be short! But it is possible. |
