XT660R larger tank

Hey guys!

So, I've been changing an XT660R that I'm going to take on an around the world trip. One of the things that needed was definitely a bigger tank.

Seeing that all the 2 options I found was the Gili motos one and the OTR one (at more than twice the price) the choice was simple, Gili.

So, on the Gili one, the fuel will sit lower than the pump, meaning that although I now have a 22.5-litre tank, I cannot use it all, which renders it not as useful as my initial math would lead me to believe.

The OTR one has on the sides fuel tap valves, which have a line going into I believe to be... the pump?! The fuel line?! Does anyone actually have an OTR one that can help me with this?

That's what I need to know, where do the OTR lines lead to? I can drill the Gili one and make the mod myself if I can understand where to plug the lines. I would definitely love to be able to use the full 22.5 liters instead of just carrying extra weight in fuel that I can't use.
