Hi,
My 2011 XT660Z (41 00km) is making a squeky noise while idling after a cold start. The noise seemed to go away after the engine warmed up. Is this something to be concerned about?
Bike has always been serviced at a yamaha dealer. Previously at 40 000km. Haven't ridden much during the winter so am I imagining things or is this an unusual noise.

i really don't hear anything wrong.
all you can do in this case,is check your oil level.

I thought I might be imagining things as I haven't ridden in a while. These XT660s have a kind of rough engine noise to start with. So trying to hear its subtleties is kind of hard at least with my limited mechanical know how.
First thing I checked all the fluids and everything was filled correctly.
